The Tidalist is built around dealing high amounts of damage with the form of magic known for its lack of damaging skills. To maximize the damage output, the character should be built around Intelligence and Wits. The Tidalist makes use of the flexibility that Hydrosophist provides the player. They look like they'd be great for overcoming what I'd heard about focusing dagger falling off mid-game and just adding more options to both our classes with more skills. I'm also curious about the odinblade mods. For full disclosure, my friend will be focusing Summoner and metamorph for their characters, but also may dip into other things from time to time, so they will also not be optimized. For instance, my other character may be doing hybrid scoundral/warfare things and have some magic not just for support, which I know will never be as good as min-maxing one attribute, so I'm worried the other changes will make it so we can't play effectively. My friend has never played a crpg before and I wanted to try some builds for fun over efficiency. I am worried that it claims it makes the game harder as well though because we are certainly going to be highly unoptimized. I was hoping to play a status condition focused character for my main, and while I know this weakens statuses considerably, it does allow you into inflict them more frequently and right off the bat which I feel would make them feel more impactful and not as much just that you only use it once when an enemies armor is down and then they're stuck the rest of the fight. ![]() I'm very interested in what people think of the Divinity Unleashed mod.
